The Trail Hike is an hour long, off-leash excursion through the tranquil wooded trails located in Westchester County, NY.

Our pack leaders are our most senior associates and have been highly trained with the skills necessary to handle a pack of dogs in an off-leash setting.
We utilize safe and effective remote collar technology to maintain control over the pack, ensuring each dog respects the boundaries of the trail, other hikers and fellow dogs.

The Trail Hike is over 2 miles of running, jumping, swimming and playing through the backwoods of Westchester’s best hiking trails.
This is the closest you can get to hiring a personal trainer for your dog. Just make sure you give your dog plenty of time to rest when they return home!

Q: How old does my puppy need to be to register?
A: Most puppies can start as soon as they are fully vaccinated at around 4 months of age
Q: Where do you hike?
A: We hike at a few different locations around Westchester County. Each location is a well maintained County park with trail markers and emergency resources.
Q: How many dogs in a pack?
A: A typical Zen Dog pack is between 4-8 dogs. Our staff to dog ratio is 1:4.
Q: How do you ensure the dogs get along?
A: We behavior test every dog before introducing them to the pack. We do not tolerate aggressive or unruly behavior which might jeopardize the health or safety of the pack in any way.
